The core privacy and security guarantees, batch settlement instead of a public mempool, best execution through solver competition, and full self-custody, we inherit from CoW Protocol. What Ophis contributes on top is reach and autonomy.

Reach: those guarantees were confined to a few EVM chains. We extend them to networks that never had them, including sovereign deployments we run ourselves and non-EVM destinations like Solana and Bitcoin, so more people can trade without surrendering custody or leaking their orders to front-runners.

Autonomy: this is the part that is genuinely new. CoW lets a person keep custody. We let an autonomous agent transact with the same protection, without anyone, including the agent's operator, holding the user's keys, and without the agent being extracted by MEV. That matters because the on-chain economy is automating fast. If agents can only act through custodial intermediaries, users lose control at exactly the moment software starts transacting on their behalf. Ophis keeps that door open: sovereign, MEV-protected execution for people and for the agents working for them.
