01 · Apply to hack

Register through TAIKAI and apply to join the hackathon. Tell us a little about who you are, what you can build and what you are interested in exploring. You do not need a finished idea or a team to apply.

Once approved, you will receive access to the hackathon and your free Common S3nse hacker ticket.

Already have a team? Great. Coming solo? Also great.

Use our hacker matchmaking sheet to see who else is joining, what they would like to build and what they are looking for. Add your own info, browse the other hackers and be proactive: if someone looks like a good fit, reach out directly. You do not need to wait for matchmaking to happen for you. Share your skills, what you want to explore, whether you already have an idea and what kind of teammate you are looking for.

You can also meet builders through our community channels or join Solana Startup Village IRL build station between Aug 31- Sept 2.

A lot of important hackathon communication will happen there, including team building, mentor access, workshops, reminders, schedule updates and judging information. Hacking officially starts Monday, August 31, and runs primarily online, with the option to build IRL + meet other hackers at Solana Startup Village, until Common S3nse begins on September 4.

Use the week to turn an idea into something real. Build remotely, join partner workshops, ask mentors for help and experiment with the technologies available through the hackathon.

On September 4-5, the hackathon moves into Common S3nse at De Hallen Studios, Amsterdam.

Hackers get access to the conference while continuing to build, test and polish their projects.

Meet the people behind the protocols you are using, get last-minute mentor support, learn from the conference and prepare your final submission.

Submit your final project through TAIKAI, including your project description, repository, demo and any relevant deployment links or contract addresses.

After submissions close, eligible teams move into IRL judging.

Do not leave submission until the final few minutes. Give yourself time to check that every link works and judges can actually access your project.

After submissions close, eligible teams move into IRL judging.

This is your chance to show what you actually built. Demo the product, explain the problem you are solving, walk judges through the technical decisions and answer their questions.

OTTER TANK - SHOWCASE YOUR EXISTING PROJECT

Otter Tank is a special showcase for existing projects looking for more exposure, stage presence and direct feedback from our Otter Judges.

The lineup combines selected projects from Best Pearls with new Otter Tank applications. New applicants must apply through the dedicated form and provide more information about their project.

Only selected and notified projects will be invited to present live on the Common S3nse stage.

No bounties. Just visibility, feedback and a stage for projects already building
